173 about to begin Maghrib Salâh should first call the Iqâmah and make the Niyyah (intention) in this way: “I have intended to perform the Fardh part of today’s Maghrib Salâh” and then performs the three-rakah Fardh of the Maghrib Salâh. After the musallî has performed the first and second rakahs like the two rakahs of the Fardh part of the Fajr Salâh, they sit for the first Tashahhud (Qa’dah Al-Ûlâ) where they read the dua of Tashahhud "Attahiyyâtu...”. Thereafter they say the Takbîr (Allâhu Akbar) and stand up for the third rakah. Then they only read Sûrah Al-Fâtihah in the third rakah and sit for the second Tashahhud (Qa’dah Al-Âkhirah) where they read the dua of "Attahiyyâtu...” the Salawât of “Allâhumma salli...” and “Allâhumma bârik...” and the dua "Rabbanâ âtinâ”. Thereafter they complete the Salâh with the Salâm (salutation), first to the right and then to the left. After the performance of the Fardh part of the Maghrib Salâh, the musallî makes the intention for the Sunnah part thereof: "I have intended to perform the Sunnah rakah of Maghrib Salâh”. Then they perform the two rakah Sunnah of the Maghrib Salâh exactly like the Sunnah part of the Fajr Salâh. 5. SALÂH AL-’ISHÂ In the performance of Salâh Al-Isha (the Late Evening Prayer), the musallî first performs the first four rakah Sunnah exactly as in the Sunnah of the Asr Salâh. Then
