69 5. To use insufficient water or to be wasteful in the use of water for Wudhû, 6. To speak during Wudhû, 7. To neglect the Sunnah acts of Wudhû. THE ACTS, WHICH BREAK WUDHÛ 1. Impurities that come out from one’s body, such as urine, blood, semen, faeces etc. 2. Blood, pus and yellow liquid flowing out of one’s body, 3. To vomit a mouthful, 4. To lose one’s mind, 5. To become drunk, 6. To faint, 7. To pass wind, 8. To fall asleep in a lying position or while crossing the legs or while leaning against something. (If one falls asleep when they have firmly placed their rear in a sitting position, their Wudhû is not voided). 9. While in Salâh, to laugh to an extent that somebody else could hear, 10. Bleeding from between the teeth to an extent that the blood is equal to or dominant over the saliva. If it is less than the saliva, this does not break the Wudhû. Shaving and cutting the nails do not void the Wudhû.
