49 RIZQ (SUSTENANCE) Rizq is the necessities of life that Allâh تعالــى provides to the living creatures to sustain their lives. However, one chooses to earn their rizq, with their own free will, by either permissible or prohibited means and Allâh تعالــى provides it in accordance with their own choice. Therefore, if one chooses to receive their rizq through prohibited means, they are fully responsible for misusing their free will (and thus committed sin). It is necessary for us to be attached to Al-Razzâq (The Provider) and not to Al-Rizq (the provisions) themselves. The provider of provisions for every living being is Allâh, the Sustainer of the entire creation. One is to rely onHimand ask fromHim. Because, His treasury is vast and limitless. Those who faithfully submit to Him will not suffer any difficulties. However, those who forget Allâh, the real provider and attach importance to the provisions themselves, will certainly suffer a lot and will face disappointments. TAWAKKUL (RELIANCE IN ALLÂH) Tawakkul is to expect from Allâh تعالــى , the result of an action after having fulfilled all the requirements, both materially and spiritually, for achieving one’s aim. In case one fails to obtain their objective, they should not complain about it. Instead, they should be content with their fate by saying: ‘Perhaps this will be better for me’. For Allâh تعالــى ,
