ILM AL-HÂL

48 Thus, the slaves of Allâh تعالــى are totally free to choose whichever gown they wish to wear, using their free will. Therefore, they go wherever they wish, either heaven or hell by using their free will.” Since a slave of Allâh is responsible for all of his/her deeds, what is neccesary for him/her is that s/he should not rebel against the divine orders of Allâh, but instead to obey them, be pleased with whatever befalls on him/her. In adition, we should also pray Allâh to protect us from all sorts of calamities and troubles and to grant us lives in health and prosperity. Rasûlullah (the prophet of Allâh) ﷺ said in a Hadith Sharîf: "Sadaqah (charity) repels calamities and prolongs one’s life.” QADAR (THE DIVINE DECREE) Qadar is the divine declaration that all events, either good or bad, from pre-eternity to the eternity, are decreed by Allâh تعالــى and He has full knowledge of all of them. QADHÂ (DIVINE WILL) Qadhâ is the occurance of all the incidents, which were decreed by Allâh تعالــى in pre-existence, at their due times and in total accordance with the divine will and knowledge of Allâh تعالـى . For example, it is of Qadar (fate) when Allâh تعالــى has decreed and willed someone’s birth at a certain time. It is of Qadhâ when s/he is born on that day.
