72 the little toe of the right foot and from the big toe of the left foot. The wiping of the area between the toes with the little finger of the left hand is done upwards. The washing of the left foot is the same as the right foot, beginning with the Basmalah. (ILLUSTRATION: 12). One recites Kalimah Al-Shahâdah as they wash each of their limbs for Wudhû. At the end of the Wudhû, one drinks some of the water remaining from Wudhû, standing and facing the Qiblah. After the completion of Wudhû, three acts are recommended (Mandûb): • To recite Kalimah Al-Shahâdah, • To recite the following dua: َسُبْحَانَكَ اللّهُمّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لٰ اِلٰهَ اِلّ اَنْتَ اَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَاَتُوبُ اِلَيْك “Subhânakallâhumma wa bihamdik. Ash-hadu an lâ ilâha illâ anta astaghfiruka wa atûbu ilayka.” • To recite Sûrah Al-Qadr once, twice or thrice.
