ILM AL-HÂL

62 KALIMAH AL-SHAHÂDAH Kalimah Al-Shahâdah, the first essential article of Islâm, reads as follows:ُ اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لٰ اِلٰهَ اِلّ اللُّ وَاَشْهَدُ اَنّ مُحَمّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُه “Ash-hadu an lâ ilâha illallâh, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan ‘abduhû wa Rasûluhû”. Translation: I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allâh and I bear witness that Muhammad ﷺ is His servant and prophet.
