54 12. Consuming intoxicating drinks, 13. Mistreating Muslims, 14. Claiming to be in the state of wilâyah (being a friend of Allâh) while one is not, 15. Forgetting or disregarding one’s sins, 16. Boasting of oneself, seeing oneself as a very learned person, 17. Backbiting and talebearing, 18. Being jealous of one’s believing fellow brothers, 19. Disobeying one’s leader, 20. To have an assumption about someone without any direct experience, that he is good or bad, 21. Telling lies, 22. Avoiding learning the teachings of Islâm, 23. Men trying to resemble women and vice versa, 24. Harbouring love for the enemies of Islâm, 25. Showing enmity towards the true scholars of Islâm. ADILLAH AL-SHAR’IYYAH (SOURCES OF THE SHARÎ’AH) Adillah Al-Shar’iyyah are the sources of the sharî’ah from which the religious ahkâm (rulings) are derived. These sources are four and they are as follows: 1. Al-Kitâb: The Noble Qur’ân, 2. Al-Sunnah: The blessed words, sayings and personal deeds of Muhammad ﷺ and in addition the deeds of others for which he remained silent as a way of approval,
