ILM AL-HÂL

40 He demised at the age of sixty-three. 2 He entrusted the Noble Qur’ân, the guide for the salvation of humanity, along with his Sunnah Al-Saniyyah (The valuable Traditions) to his ummah and advised adherence to both. Peace and blessings be upon you, O prophet of Allâh ﷺ ! It is only Allâh, the Sustainer of the worlds, who knows and praises you perfectly. You are Muhammad Mustafâ ﷺ .You are the mercy to the worlds. You are the prophet of all human and Jinn. You are Khatam Al-Nabîyyîn, the seal of the prophets. You are the chosen receiver of the divine word of Allâh: “Law Lâka Lawlâk, Lamâ Khalaq’tul Aflâk” 3 ASHÂB AL-KIRÂM, the HONOURABLE COMPANIONS of MUHAMMAD ﷺ Ashâb Al-Kirâm (the Honourable companions of Muhammad ﷺ ) are the people who saw the prophet ﷺ even once while having Îmân (faith) in him, and stayed in his company even for a short while. All of them had very high rank, for they saw the last prophet ﷺ , gathered around him, strived with their souls 2  The life span of Muhammad ﷺ is 63 years according to the Hijrî lunar calendar. He was born 53 years prior to the Hijrah and demised 10 years after it. His life span, according to the Gregorgian calendar, works out to be 61 years when 571 is subtracted from 632. The difference of 2 years between the two calendars is because a year lasts 354 or 355 days according to the lunar calendar while it does 365 according to the latter. 3  Translation: (Had it not been for you, I would not have created the universe).
