255 FIFTY-FOUR FARDH (OBLIGATORY) ACTS 1. Believing in Allâh as one and remembering Him (Dhikr), 54 2. Dressing in clean clothes earned in Halâl ways, 3. Performing Wudhû (Ablution), 4. Performing Salâh (prayer) five times a day, 5. Performing GhusI due to the state of Janâbah (impurity), 6. Trusting in Allâh for Rizq (sustenance), 7. Eating and drinking in Halâl ways, 8. Being satisfied with what Allâh provides, 9. Trusting in Allâh wholeheartedly, 10. Accepting the decree of Allâh contentedly, 11. To be thankful for the blessings, 12. To be patient with misfortunes, 13. To repent for sins, 14. To perform all Ibâdât (worship) with sincerity, 15. To know the devil as an enemy, 16. To acknowledge the Holy Qur’ân as proof, 17. To be prepared for death, 54  Dhikr: Chanting by tongue or by heart. If done by heart it is called hidden chanting (dhikr al-khafi), whereas examples of dhikrs that may be done by tongue are reading the Holy Qur’ân, professing that Allâh is one (Kalimah-i Tawhid), pronouncing the remembrance of Allâh 's unity (tahlil), reciting sayings which mention the name of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Salawat-i Sharîfah) and reciting prayers (Dua).
