235 Dua to Read in the Morning and Evening Especially in the Marketplaces: .ُ ّلٰ اِلٰهَ اِلّ اللُّ وَحْدَهُ لٰ شَر۪يكَ لَه ٌلَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ يُحْي۪ى وَيُم۪يتُ وَهُوَ حَى وَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَد۪ير ُ لٰ يَمُوتُ بِيَدِهِ الْخَيْر “La illâha illallâhu wahdahû lâ-sharîka lah, Lahu'l-mulku wa lahu'l-hamdu yuhyî wa yumîtu, Wa huwa hayyun lâ- yamûtu bi-yadihi'l-khayru, Wa huwa ‘alâ kulli shay’in qadîr.” 39 This dua (supplication) is recited eleven times each morning and evening. It may be recited anywhere and everywhere while going out to shop, on the street etc. Our Prophet ﷺ says: "Whoever reads this dua (supplication), Allâh gives a million good deeds to him and erases a million sins from him and raises him a million degrees”. One refreshes his belief when s/he recites this prayer. This prayer is the best means for the intercession of Rasûlullâh ﷺ . 39  Meaning: "There is none worthy of worship but Allâh. He is One alone and has no partners. He causes death and gives life and He is alive and never dies. Good is in His power and He has power over everything.
