ILM AL-HÂL

207 The Niyyah (intention) for this Salâh is as follows: ["O Rabb (Lord)! I have intended to perform this Salâh for Your Divine Pleasure. Grant me Your Divine Forgiveness and Grace; and save me from the hardness of the heart and from the troubles of this world and the Hereafter; and include me among Your blissful slaves.” In the performance of this Salâh, you should give Salâm at the end of every two rakahs. Read in each rakah Sûrah Al-Fâtihah once and Sûrah Al-lkhlas ten times. Upon the completion of this Salâh, recite the following: Fourteen times:َ اَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّ الْعَظ۪يمَ وَاَتُوبُ اِلَيْك “Astaghfirullâha'l-‘a th îm wa atûbu ilayk”. Fourteen times:ٍ ٍاَللّهُمّ صَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ وَبَارِكْ عَلٰىسَيِّدِنَا مُحَمّد وَعَلٰى اٰلِ مُحَمّد “Allâhumma salli wa sallim wa bârik alâ Sayyidinâ Muhammadin wa alâ âli Muhammad” • Fourteen times: Sûrah Al-Fâtihah, • Fourteen times: Âyah Al-Kursî, • Fourteen times: The 128 th and 129 th Âyât of Sûrah Al- Tawbah (Laqad Jâ’akum...),
