181 Salâh of Eid Al-Adhhâ should be given on the meaning and merits of Udhiyyah (animal sacrifice). It is a Wâjib (required) act to recite the Tashrîk Takbîr after the completion of every Fardh (obligatory) Salâh, beginning from the Fajr Salâh of the 9 th of Dhil Hijjah until the Asr Salâh of the 13 th day of Dhil Hijjah, which is totally twenty-three Salâh (prayers). The Takbîr of Tashrîk reads as follows: ْاَللُّ اَكْبَـرْ اَللُّ اَكْبَـرْ لَ اِلٰـهَ اِلّ اللُّ وَاللُّ اَكْبَـرْ اَللُّ اَكْبَـرْ وَِِّ الْحَمْـد “Allâhu Akbar, Allâhu Akbar, Lâ ilaha iIlallâhu, w'Allâhu Akbar, Allâhu Akbar wa lillahi'l-hamd” Translation: "Allâh is the Greatest, Allâh is the Greatest, There is none worthy of worship but Allâh, and Allâh is the Greatest, Allâh is the Greatest and all praise is to Allâh”. It is Wâjib (required) for each and every Muslim, male or female, in congregation or individual, Muqîm (resident) or Musâfir (traveller) to recite the Takbîr of Tashrîk immediately after the completion of a Fardh (obligatory) Salâh.
