ILM AL-HÂL

179 of Jumu’ah Salâh”. The two rakah, which is led by the imâm after the first Sunnah part is the Fardh (obligatory) part and the four rakah Sunnah part that is performed after the two Fardh (obligatory) rakahs is the final Sunnah part of Jumu’ah Salâh. The four rakahs performed next are called "Zuhr Al- Âkhir”, for which one makes the Niyyah (intention) as follows: "I have intended to perform the Fardh (obligatory) part of the latest Zuhr Salâh that has not been fulfilled by me though it is Fardh (obligatory) upon me”. If one makes the Niyyah (intention) in this manner, in case Jumu’ah Salâh in that day were not accepted due to a deficiency in its conditions, these rakahs would replace Zuhr Salâh of the day. If it were valid, it would be in the place of the latest Qadhâ of a Zuhr Salâh that was not performed at its due time. For the two rakahs that are performed after Salâh of Zuhr Al-Âkhir, one makes the Niyyah (intention) as follows: "I have intended to perform the Sunnah of the time”. If the ten rakahs following the Fardh of Jumu’ah Salâh are not performed, there is a possibility Jumu’ah Salâh of the day may not be accepted thus Zuhr Salâh remains unperformed. Therefore, one must never neglect these ten rakahs after the Fardh (obligatory) rakahs of Jumu’ah Salâh.
