ILM AL-HÂL

118 SÛRAH AL-FÎLِ بِسْـــمِ اللِّ الرّحْمٰـنِ الرّح۪يم اَلَمْ يَجْعَلْ * اَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبّكَ بِاَصْحَابِ الْف۪يلِۘ تَرْم۪يهِمْ *َۙ وَاَرْسَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ طَيْرًا اَ بَاب۪يل * كَيْدَهُمْ ف۪ىتَضْل۪يلٍۙ *ٍ فَجَعَلَهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَاْ كُول *ۡ بِحِجَارَةٍ مِنْ سِجّ۪يلٍۙ Transliteration: Bismillâhi'r-Rahmâni'r-Rahîm. Alam tara kayfa fa‘ala Rabbuka bi-ashâb'il-fîl. Alam-yaj‘al kaydahum fî ta dh lîl. Wa arsala ‘alayhim t ayran abâbîl. Tarmîhim bi-hijâratin min sijjîl. Fa-ja‘alahum ka‘a s -fin ma’kûl. 10 Merciful. Have We not opened your breast for you? And We removed from you your burden, Which had weighed upon your back And exalted high your remembrance? So verily, with the hardship, there is ease. Indeed, with hardship (will be) ease. So when you have finished (your duties), still toil (for worship or other duties). And towards your Rabb (Lord) turn with eagerness. 10 Translation: In the name of Allah, the Absolutely Merciful, the Especially Merciful. (O beloved) Have you not considered how your Rabb (Lord) dealt with the companions of the elephant? Did He not make their plot go astray? And sent against them birds, in flocks, striking them with stones of baked clay. And He
