109 Allâhu Akbar Allâhu Akbar, Allâhu Akbar Allâhu Akbar, Ash-hadu an lâ ilâha illallâh, Ash-hadu an lâ ilâha illallâh, Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasûlullâh, Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan Rasûlullâh, Hayya ‘al-as-Salâh, Hayya ‘al-as-Salâh, Hayya ‘al-al-Falâh, Hayya ‘al-al-Falâh, Allâhu Akbar Allâhu Akbar, Lâ ilâha illallâh. In the Adhân of Fajr Salâh, the expression of “Assalâtu khayrun min-an-nawm” twice, is added after the second recitation of “Hayya’al-Al-Falâh”. lqâmah is like Adhân, with the addition of “Qad-qâmati’s- Salâh” (twice), after the second recitation of “Hayya’al-Al- Falâh”. It is better to call both the Adhân and lqâmah for any Salâh performed at home or any other convenient places away from home. Adhân cannot be called before the arrival of the scheduled time. Adhân is not the Sunnah of the Salâh times but rather that of the Salâh themselves. Therefore, it is a Sunnah act to call both the Adhân and Iqâmah for those missed (Qadhâ) Salâh (prayers). It is Makrûh (disliked) for the ignorant and the sinner to call the Adhân. It is permissible for a male child who is able to distinguish what is right and wrong to call Adhân.
